This Mil Mi-2, manufactured in 1974 and registered as experimental, represents one of the best-preserved examples of this classic Soviet twin-engine helicopter. With an extensively documented history, a comprehensive overhaul, and a modernized interior, it offers both a piece of aviation history and a machine ready for new missions.

This particular aircraft has approximately 3,200 flight hours.

The helicopter was first restored in 2025, receiving a new interior, radar altimeter, defrosting system, additional fuel tanks, and an ELT emergency transmitter.

In 2026, a new and extensive restoration was started, including:

• Sheet-metal work and inspection of all rivets and joints.
• New primer: SIGMACOVER 350, epoxy primer.
• New topcoat: SIGMADUR 550, black polyurethane finish.
• Inspection and overhaul of the main rotor gearbox.
• Newly refurbished flight-control components, hydraulic dampers, and collective control.
• Overhauled rotor blades.
• New filters and oils throughout all systems.
• Lubricated with AeroShell 22.

Interior

• Completely new cabin with seats upholstered in fire-resistant leather.
• New side windows and window frames.
• Completely new interior trim and fittings.
